Things about which I continue to think



In a previous post, I kicked around the idea of the Apprentice Challenge, as outlined by some lovely people in An Tir, and then basically went dark on SCA stuff for ::checks watch:: a year and a half. But since my muse seems to be reawakening, I thought I'd give this list a revisit, and make some modifications to meet me where I live, so to speak. So I've removed the bardic bits - music degree notwithstanding, it's just not a thing I do here - and added a section on Research & Documentation so I can play to my strengths. I also added heraldic display for ambiance, because why the hell not?


The Competition bits will be a bit of a struggle, since (I think I've mentioned) not a fan of them on principle, but there may be opportunities for display and feedback that I can take advantage of. I'd love to see something like my former Barony's Athanaeum event happen over here, and I know the Drachenwald Laurelate are having discussions about a variety of solutions to the current situation. We'll see how things play out in a post-COVID world.


At any rate, here's how things stand:


PROJECT COMPLETION

*Completed a project that's been in the UFO pile for years.
